I’ve always said that theatre is a family, you’ll find them anywhere you go, it’s just a different branch of the same tree. In the summer of 2017 I auditioned for my first show with the JTG - Hello Dolly! I hadn’t been on stage in over 15 years and I was so nervous! It was such a great experience - everyone was so kind and helpful through the whole process. While I wasn’t cast in this show, I was given the opportunity to work backstage, and was welcomed into this family here in Jackson. It’s been such a fun journey - backstage, onstage, in every capacity that I’ve volunteered - I’ve found something new to learn and love! I’ve made lifelong friends and been able to share my love of theatre with my own family, sharing the stage with my husband and two of our children!
